Designer - Sanchitaa Gupta

​

She is alumnus of National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi and also an ex professor of her alma mater. She has work experience of more than two decades in fashion garments, textiles and craft sector globally. She has conducted craft workshops in various clusters of India and abroad and continuously engaged in the upliftment of Indian craftsmen. She also works in the tough terrain of Ladakh on self projects to promote local Pashmina.

Her work as fashion and costume designer, consultant, trainer, jury member for international beauty pageants and fashion shows has been appreciated globally at various platforms including the red carpet of the Academy Awards.

She is leading costume designer/costume director  for many foreign feature films like Iqbal En Indiske Juvel (Danish feature film directed by Oliver Zahle - based on a famous  novel by Manu Sareen),Delhis vackraste Hander ( Swedish TV series Directed by Oscar Nominee Hannes Holm)

Her couture gown was highly applauded at the Oscars red carpet for a foreign filmmaker Ms Malin Holm during the nomination of “A man called ove” with Director Hannes Holm in 2017. FashEnable was also nominated for the best 5000 MSME award in the same year.

She has designed beauty pageant gowns in past for Ms North India, Mrs India Worldwide, Mrs Asia International, Mrs India Earth and also been a jury member and coach on such platforms.

She is also associated with the Government Handloom Sector for more than a decade as designer and consultant.

Her store in New Delhi caters women’s wear for all ages and compliments all types of body frames. She specialise in artistic couture with innovative silhouette appreciating Indian artistry of handwork.
